Cards of Hope

Delivering encouragement when it’s needed most

What it is

Our Cards of Hope is a community driven initiative sends personalized, handwritten or printed encouragement to patients and their caregivers. These cards are included in our care packages and distributed during hospital visits to remind patients that they are not alone.

Why we do it

During treatment, the smallest gestures can have the biggest impact. A single message of encouragement can bring comfort, hope, and strength during some of the hardest days. These simple gestures of kindness provide a much-needed lift during the most challenging parts of the medical journey. This program exists to create moments of connection and to remind patients that there is an entire community standing behind them.

Partner

We partner with schools, families, community groups, and individuals who create thoughtful and intentional cards for patients. We provide clear guidelines to ensure each message is uplifting, appropriate, and meaningful. These cards are then carefully selected and included in our care packages or delivered directly to patients.

How to Get Involved

Join our community of hope-givers. Whether you're an individual, a student, or part of a group, there are many ways to touch a patient's heart.

Collect

These cards are then carefully selected and included in our care packages or delivered directly to patients. Our volunteers hand-write or carefully print a message of hope, often including an uplifting quote or favorite scripture to brighten their day.

Distribute

The card arrives either in their care package, hand delivered directly to the patient, or sent by mail, providing a tangible and lasting reminder that they are seen, loved, and prayed for during their treatment journey.

Sending your Cards of Hope

Cards of all shapes and sizes are welcome! Just make sure they can fit into a standard 9x12” mailing envelope.

Let’s show patients that even strangers can make them feel seen, supported, and loved.

The card arrived on a day I felt completely forgotten. Seeing the handwritten words reminded me I'm not fighting alone.

Sarah M., Patient

My daughter holds onto her card during every chemo session. It's a small piece of light in a very dark room.

I didn't expect a stranger to care so much. This card sat on my bedside table through my entire recovery.
