What it is
'Equipped for the Journey' is our core care package program designed to support newly diagnosed cancer patients from the very beginning of their journey. Each care package is thoughtfully curated with items that provide comfort, practical support, and encouragement throughout treatment, and a direct line to a community that understands the fight.
Why we do it
When someone is diagnosed with cancer, they are often overwhelmed, uncertain, and unprepared for what lies ahead. There is so much patients are expected to figure out on their own, both physically and mentally.
We created this program to change that. By combining real patient insight with meaningful and high quality resources, we aim to give patients a sense of clarity, comfort, and confidence as they begin their fight.
How it works
Each care package is built using input from individuals who have personally gone through cancer. This allows us to include items that are not just helpful in theory but proven to make a difference in real life.
We partner with hospitals, treatment centers, and organizations to deliver these bags directly into the hands of patients who need them most.
